“Conditions” just means these terms and conditions.
“Customer/Client/You/Your/User” means the person who consents to place an order for any of the products or services listed on the Website.
”Products/Services/Work” means writing, editing and formatting of a CV, Cover Letter, LinkedIn Profile, Job Board Registration and any other documentation or service offered on the Website
“Website” means the Website located at www.abcvsolutions.com or any subsequent URL which may replace it

Terms & Conditions of Service
You are provided with access to this Website in accordance with these Conditions and any orders placed by you must be placed strictly in accordance with these Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are written with the sole jurisdiction of the English courts and according to English Law. We reserve the right to cancel or change these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice. The provisions relating to Disclaimer, Liability, Intellectual Property and Indemnity shall survive beyond completion of any order. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should stop using the Website immediately.
The technical steps required to create the contract between you and us are as follows:
- You place the order on the Website by pressing the ‘Proceed to PayPal’ button’ at the end of the checkout process. You will be linked to PayPal’s secure Website and guided through the process of placing an order by a series of instructions on their Website either using your existing PayPal account login details or as a guest using your debit or credit card.
- We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from us. Attached to our email will be our Questionnaire and a Checklist which contains a list of essential information we’ll need from you in order to create your new CV or other products.
- You are required to complete the Questionnaire (allow approximately 30 minutes) and ensure your existing CV contains all the information outlined in the Checklist and email them back to us along with your existing CV (and Cover Letter and Job Description if applicable).
- For our LinkedIn Optimisation service we will also require your existing log-in details including password.
- Order acceptance will take place upon receipt and our satisfactory review of your completed Questionnaire and your existing CV meeting the criteria outlined in the Checklist. We will send to you an order acceptance email detailing the products you’ve ordered and confirming receipt of the documents.
- Completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch of the final version of your products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it in accordance with our Distance Selling Regulations, Cancellations and Refunds article below.
Non-acceptance of an Order
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following;
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment,
- Our inability to contact you with the Personal Information you provided,
- Our inability to achieve Turnaround times due to the amount of work we take on,
- Your inability to complete the Questionnaire and/or insufficient information in your CV against the Checklist criteria
Without prejudice to the provisions above, in the event we do not receive any communication from you following our order acknowledgement email after thirty (30) days, then we will use the information we hold about you to email you and to notify you that your order is deemed closed without any refund provided. Refer to Distance Selling Regulations, Cancellations and Refunds below.
All fees must be paid in full in advance via PayPal.
Use of PayPal
Use of our link to PayPal to pay for your services is done strictly at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for any misuse of your PayPal Account, Credit/Debit Card or Bank Account as a result of using this service. If PayPal refuses to authorise payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the refusal.
All prices are subject to change at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for changing any prices. Prices are stated in GBP (British Pound Sterling). PayPal will automatically apply the relevant exchange rate for other currencies. We will not be liable for any currency conversion fees applied to your transaction.
Your Obligations When Submitting Information To Us
You warrant that the information submitted to us does not contain false or defamatory material, or that which infringes the copyright, trademark rights and intellectual rights of third parties or submit any information likely to damage ABCV Solutions.
You warrant that all information which you provide to us is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects and that you will notify us immediately of any changes to such information prior to completion of the contract.
We cannot be held liable for any criminal proceedings which arise as a result of false or misleading information being included in your CV or any other documents prepared by us.
Questionnaire, Checklist and Existing CV
Following payment, we will provide you with our Questionnaire and a CV Checklist, both specially developed to ensure we know enough about you in order to provide you the best service possible. You must complete the Questionnaire in its entirety and ensure that your existing CV and LinkedIn Profiles meet the content requirements listed in the CV Checklist and send back to us to start working on your order. Job descriptions, advertisements and existing cover letters can also be sent to us if available.
Standard Service Turnaround Times (CV, Cover Letters)
Barring inability to contact you if necessary, draft copies of documents will normally be completed within five (5) working days after we send you an order acceptance email as confirmation of receipt of your completed Questionnaire and your existing CV which meets the requirements and contains all information outlined in our Checklist. You will be notified if the preparation of your documents is likely to take significantly longer than this.
Within two (2) working days of the delivery of your draft documents we will make amendments as required at no extra charge until you are happy with your CV. However, you cannot express unreasonable, total or near total dissatisfaction at the draft copy stage. Once you have approved the draft of your CV, or after this period has elapsed we reserve the right to charge an additional fee for any changes.
Once your written acceptance of the draft document(s) is received, we will send you the final CV within two (2) working days to complete your order.
If no communication is received from you regarding amendments or approval of your draft CV after seven (7) working days then we will use the information we hold about you to prepare your final documents. The document will be dispatched and the order deemed closed.
Next Day Express Service
Barring inability to contact you if necessary, draft documents prepared using the Next-day express service are guaranteed to be completed and delivered by e-mail within one (1) working day after we send you confirmation of receipt of your completed Questionnaire and your existing CV which meets the requirements and contains all information outlined in the Checklist.
We will make amendments to your draft documents as required at no extra charge within one (1) working day. You cannot express unreasonable, total or near total dissatisfaction at the draft copy stage. Once you have approved the draft of your CV, or after this period has elapsed we reserve the right to charge an additional fee for any changes.
Once we receive your written acceptance of the draft(s) we will send you the final CV within one (1) working day to complete your express order.
If no communication is received from you regarding amendments or approval of your draft CV after two (2) working days then we will use the information we hold about you to prepare your final documents. The document will be dispatched and the order deemed closed.
If you need your CV to be completed by an earlier specific deadline, please email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org before placing an order, to ensure that we can meet your requirements.
Working days are Monday to Friday (excluding UK public holidays).
If you are purchasing our LinkedIn Profile Creation or Optimisation service as a stand-alone service (i.e. without a new CV) we can only accept your order following receipt of your completed Questionnaire and your existing CV which meets the requirements and contains all information outlined in the Checklist.
If you are purchasing our LinkedIn Profile Creation or Optimisation service in addition to a new CV, then we can only start work once you have approved the draft of the new CV we have prepared for you.
Barring inability to contact you if necessary, your LinkedIn Profile will normally be completed within five (5) working days after we send you an order acceptance email. Unlike CVs amendments on LinkedIn Profiles are not included in the service and delivery completes your order.
Job Board Registration
Our Job Board Registration service can only be delivered after we send you an order acceptance email with confirmation of receipt of either your existing CV or following your approval of the draft CV we prepare for you depending on whether this service is chosen as an add-on item to a CV service or stand-alone.
Electronic Documentation Format
Documents transmitted via email and/or provided on USB Memory Sticks are in Microsoft Word for Windows and Adobe PDF format. We will not be held liable for incompatibility issues with a user’s individual computer, nor be required to provide supporting software. We cannot accept any liability for late delivery of emails or for the failure of emails to arrive.
Microsoft Word is not currently fully supported on the Apple iPad. This means that some formatting features may not be displayed when viewing a Microsoft Word file on the device. Therefore, we recommend viewing your CV and Cover Letters using a PC or Laptop with a full version of Microsoft Word installed.
Whilst every attempt is made to check electronic documentation for viruses and bugs before transmitting by email or copying to USB Memory Stick, it is your responsibility to ensure that your computer is adequately protected from viruses and bugs.
Language & Format
All documents are produced in United Kingdom English in Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF.
You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material on our Website shall remain at all times vested in us. You are permitted to use this material for the sole purpose of you evaluating whether to and/or placing an order with us. Any other use of the material within our Website is strictly prohibited. Except with the written permission of ABCV Solutions, you shall not disclose, copy, divulge, reproduce, publish or in any way disseminate any material including our Questionnaire and Checklist to any third party or into the public domain for the purpose of monetary or commercial gain.
By using our services you agree to indemnify and hold ABCV Solutions Ltd free from any losses, liabilities and expenses (including all legal fees) resulting from use of products and services and advice offered via the Website, any printed material produced by ABCV Solutions Ltd or any verbal advice or instruction provided by an employee of ours. Indemnity extends to any breach of the terms and conditions, or uploading, downloading or reproduction of contents or data from this site.
We shall not be held liable for the failure of the Client in obtaining any position, occupation, promotion, offer of employment or achieving any other career objective. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss. We shall not be liable for any warranty or representation not expressly provided in this agreement.
Limitation of Liability
While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the Website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any representation or endorsement made and we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Website, or any transaction that may be conducted through the Website including but not limited to, implied warranties of non-infringement, compatibility, security, accuracy, conditions of completeness, or any implied warranty arising from course of dealing or usage or trade.
We will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the Conditions for;
- any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, income, business); or
- any loss of goodwill or reputation; or
- any special or indirect losses
- suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under the Conditions.
To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to our work.
We make no warranty that the Website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy and reliability of the Website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Website.
Distance Selling Regulations
Cancellations and RefundsABCV Solutions’ services are included in the supply of services and personalised goods, as outlined in Distance Selling Regulations, Section 13 in respect to cancellation of contracts for the supply of services if the performance of the contract has begun with the consumer’s agreement. Orders cannot be cancelled once we have emailed you our order acceptance notification which confirms we have started to work on your CV, Cover Letter, LinkedIn Profile or Job Board Registration. If work has not commenced on your order and you have not received our order acceptance e-mail, then you will receive an 85% refund (less15% administration and payment processing fees) unless after thirty (30) days of our order acknowledgement e-mail, at which time your order will automatically be deemed closed without refund.
Should you find it necessary to make a complaint about any aspect of our services, please submit your complaint in writing in the first instance to: email@example.com. We will respond to your complaint within five (5) working days. We are unable to offer refunds for complaints about the quality of our work as this is subjective and as such impossible to measure. We will in every instance attempt to work with you to resolve any issues with any documents we prepared for you.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
